Denim Shorts Turned Bubble Skirt

I basically combined this tutorial with this tutorial and came up with this!
I know it's not a great picture (don't you love the ragamuffin hair?! I'll try to get a better one) and apparently I need to attach some bloomers underneath because she kept pulling the skirt up. WAY UP! Like to her armpits...yeah, not so attractive.

    She's so cute!! I love the skirt. Missing having a little girl to sew for, mine are almost all grown. The granddaughter is so fussy at 9 years old. lol.
