Week two was not as productive as week one for me as far as crafting goes. We spent the last several days trying to learn how to use the potty and boy is it exhausting! Here is my round up for this week:
Project 1 - Luck Wreath
Wait, you can't see the wreath in this picture. That's what I get for trying to take a pic while hubby was in the room! He thinks it looks like he has a halo over his head.
Project 2 - Case for body pillow
I made this using leftovers of the sheet set that I turned into curtains and a bed skirt.

Ashley I came across your blog and noticed you used shabby blogs designs. I also used the same header. I am new at this and have a question on how you put type(Ashley's Craft Corner) in the white frame. I wish I new more about html and all the codes that go with it. My blog is www.thetailorednest.blogspot
ReplyDeleteThanks for any help you can give me. Leslie
P.S. I love your blog. You're very creative.
First of all, thank you!
ReplyDeleteTo get the type into the frame has nothing to do with HTML (good thing or I would never have gotten it in there!). If I remember correctly, you have to save the header image onto your computer before you can upload it onto your blog. I just opened the image in Photoshop (ok, not actually Photoshop because I'm cheap but there is this great program out there called Paint.net (you can get it at http://www.getpaint.net/) and it is very similar to Photoshop but it's free!) and then just added the font that I wanted in the frame area. It took a couple of tries to get the coloring and the sizing and all of the just right, but it was actually quite simple and fast. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have further questions. You can email me at awatson87 at gmail dot com.
Hi Ashley
ReplyDeleteThanks Again for all your info. It worked perfectly using paint. I'm so glad I came across your blog. Oh by the way I can't wait to try your Coconut Pecan Chicken.
Thanks Again!
