Animal Ears Templates

I've had several emails from asking for templates for the animal ears headbands I posted about here. This is a work in progress, but here are some of them. Click on the link, then right click with your mouse to print. It should print at full scale (there is a 1 inch square on each of the pages for you to check the sizing, but if it is off a little it won't be the end of the world).

If you have any questions on assembly, don't hesitate to ask!

  5. Thank you so much!! I am using these for my music classes' christmas program at school. Now I get to make 75 headbands in about 2 weeks. Your site has helped me so much!

  6. Ashley, these templates are awesome! Thanks for posting. I will be using these for our Children's Church Christmas play. Although they will be for the adults to wear. We thought it would be fun.
I do have a question, are these headbands made with felt and simply glued together? Thanks- Mallory.

  7. Mallory, I'm so glad that you like these! I would love to see a picture of the adults wearing them. Most of them are made from felt and hot glued together. I did put pipe cleaners in between the layers of felt on some of them to give them more stability. But you don't have to use felt. You could use flannel or fleece or even cotton fabric (you would definitely want to use the pipe cleaners then). The giraffe was made from some flannel that I had on hand and the cat/jaguar was made from an old hand-me-down t-shirt. Those ones I did sew but you could just as easily glue the fabric together.
I hope this info helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
